Helene O’Neill is the curia chaplain for the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. She is also the chaplain at Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club and an ABC sports commentator on local radio. Helene has previously held roles in sport, health and fitness with the Australian Sports Commission, the University of Newcastle, Northern NSW Football and the Newcastle Knights.
