Living as Brothers and Sisters

15min   |   Presented by Christopher Gilroy

From a family of 13, Christopher Gilroy speaks about what it means to live as brothers and sisters in a family context, as well as in a Church context as members of the people of God. He reflects upon key families featured in Scripture and the idea of being ‘adopted’ sons and daughters of God, and how we become members of God’s family through baptism.

Christopher is husband to Monika and father to Jeremiah and Colette. He currently works across the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn in parish youth ministry development. With experience in various ministry contexts over the past 10 years, Christopher hopes to continue to provide spaces and opportunities for others to know Christ and to build up leaders to bring Jesus into their own personal contexts.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of this great South land upon which we gather. We honour elders past, present and future, and thank them for their sacrifice and stewardship. We commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of reconciliation.
